Egrowr WiFi Privacy Policy

Who operates the app
Egrowr WiFi is provided by Wamron Sp. z o.o. It is a utility for configuring the WiFi connection of Egrowr Pro and Egrowr Classic devices. For privacy questions or support, contact egrowr@egrowr.com.
Information used during setup
You enter your router WiFi name, WiFi password and Egrowr serial number. The app uses the serial locally to select the device access point and communication protocol. After you tap Next and approve any system connection prompts, the app sends the router WiFi name and password directly to your Egrowr over its local WiFi network. These details are not sent to Wamron servers by this app.
Storage and retention
The entered fields remain in app memory during the current session, including after Start again, so that you can retry or edit them. The app does not save these fields to files, preferences, analytics or logs. Closing the app process clears its in-memory fields. Your Egrowr device stores the WiFi settings it receives so that it can connect to your router; change or reset those settings on the device when you no longer want it to use that network.
Permissions
On Android 13 and newer, Nearby devices permission is used to join the Egrowr access point. Android 10 to 12 requires Precise Location permission and enabled Location services for this WiFi connection API. The app does not read, record or send your geographic location. On iPhone, WiFi connection approval and Local Network access allow communication with the Egrowr. You can manage permissions in your phone settings; denying required access prevents WiFi setup.
Network security
Setup uses the Egrowr password-protected WiFi access point. The device protocol does not provide additional TLS or end-to-end encryption for the credential packet. Device access-point passwords are bundled or derived in the app and are not a secret identity check. Perform setup in a trusted location and only enter credentials for networks you are authorized to configure.
No advertising, tracking or app accounts
Egrowr WiFi has no login, advertising, in-app purchases, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. It does not sell your information. The app does not send setup data to advertising or analytics providers. Your operating system and app store may process their own diagnostics under their separate settings and policies.
Contact and requests
If you email egrowr@egrowr.com, Wamron receives the email address and information you choose to include in order to handle your request. Do not include your WiFi password. Contact the same address with questions or requests about access, correction or deletion of information you have provided to Wamron. WiFi settings kept only on your phone or Egrowr must be cleared on those devices.
Scope and updates
This policy covers the Egrowr WiFi setup app, not separate Egrowr cloud services, other apps or websites. Changes to this app's data handling will be reflected in an updated policy with a new effective date. The app is a device-setup utility and is not designed for children.
